you might have noticed, that the Jabber Service was down for a while. This was due to an error in the backup process. We will change this from FTP to rsync in the next few days to prevent this from happening again.

Some good news, we have finally upgraded to eJabberd 2.0.0. This means, we now support PEP, all of our Transports, SOCKS5 Proxy, MUC Logs, and much more.

So feel free to test it.

I just got a really nice message. Apparantly, the Flosoft IM server is at the top of the Servers list in Adium 1.2. I was surprised by the high amount of new registrations, but now I know.

Here’s the evidence.

Yet another feature on the Flosoft Messenger Server Website.

For all you iChat users, and the rest, you can now register with our Transports via our Website. Under the Register tab, you can now find an option Register with Transport. Just fill out the form, and get registered!

More new stuff is on the way!

just like I promised, with the new site, there will be new features too. We have just completed all testing of the new Registration Form. It allows you to setup your vCard on registration.

There are other features on the way, so stay tuned. If you have any ideas of features you want to see on the Website or on the Jabber Service, just post a comment. Your feedback helps us to improve the service.
